Hi, I'm Evan Tanner 👋

I am a highly skilled high-school programmer proficient in PHP web app development, with years of expertise working with the most popular web technologies like jQuery and Bootstrap.

I am tenth-grade student with a passion for programming. My skills mainly lie in PHP and HTML5, plus a strong foundation in CSS3 and JavaScript. My technical toolkit includes frameworks and libraries like Bootstrap, Laravel, and jQuery, allowing me to create dynamic and responsive web applications. I am well-versed in various technologies like as PWA, SPA, AJAX, REST, CSP, and JSON. I follow the latest tech news to make sure I stay at the forefront of the latest web technologies.

Apart from my tech skills, I actively contribute to my school and the local community through Conceita, a non-profit organization I founded in 2016 when I began my journey to learn programming. We are dedicated to providing free software solutions for both teachers and students. Over the years, we have grown to include a team of 17 volunteers, and I continue to oversee and contribute to all aspects of operations. Aside from coding, I have skills in project and team leadership, UI/UX design, and even provide teaching other students the basics of how code works. I am an active member and the elected chapter treasurer of Business Professionals of America (BPA) chapter at my school.

I have earned accolades such as being a TSA State Finalist in "Inventions and Innovations." I have demonstrated my skills through the new LinkedIn Skill Assessment program, ranking in the top 5% for PHP and HTML5 among a 4.5 million participants. I actively share my knowledge by co-teaching a class on web development essentials at the middle school level.
